Klickitat River

8x16
oil on canvas panel

With a couple feet of snow on the ground and near-zero temperatures, it's nice to remember this beautiful October day near Lyle, Washington.

Hi Rachel. Another lovely landscape. Is this plein air? Very nice painting and it is has the definite feel of the area and extreme climate changes. Great Job!

I think this is the Big Klickitat, or maybe just the Klickitat, the little Klickitat runs through Goldendale.

You're right, it's just the "Klickitat". This was a few miles up the road and I had thought it had curved into the Little Klickitat already, but my map confirms your comment. Thanks!
