Another painting done for Karin Jurick's Different Strokes From Different Folks. This was painted from and upside-down photograph, which I resisted all temptation to turn right-side up until it was complete. I've never painted a figure before, so it was doubly interesting to try from an inverted reference; I didn't notice the confluence of lines at her head until I turned the painting around, but I liked it, so I left it that way.
